Does HireAI replace my ATS?
No. And we don't want to. Your ATS is where compliance lives. HireAI lives beside it — it's the layer that turns candidate data into something a hiring manager will actually read. Export a Living Resume link, paste it into your ATS notes, move on with your day.
Where does the candidate data go?
AI processing runs on large language models hosted in Australia and the United States. Resume text is deleted from our servers within 30 days. Living Resume pages are non-indexable by default and can be deleted from the page itself at any time. Full detail in our Privacy notice.
Am I responsible for getting candidate consent?
Yes. You warrant that for every candidate you submit, you've obtained their express consent or are relying on another lawful basis under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You're the APP entity responsible for that collection. We're the processor acting on your instructions. This is spelled out in the recruiter terms before you upload anything.
Can I scrape candidate profiles from other platforms?
No, and we won't help you do it. Paste a candidate's profile URL only when they've given you the URL themselves. Candidate Match — when it ships — works against an opt-in pool of candidates who have chosen to be discoverable on HireAI. We built it this way because it's the right thing to do and because it's the only way the matches actually mean anything.
How is this different from every other AI recruiter tool?
Most AI recruiter tools summarise resumes. HireAI performs them. The Living Resume is the product — it's the artifact the hiring manager sees, and it's so much better than a PDF that the whole process changes around it.
